Testimonials | Wesley Court Assisted Living Community

What truly makes us unique is our people: our residents, their families and our staff. Below are written accounts from some of our own who help to make Wesley Court a great place to live.

“I just want to say thank-you for the great care your staff gave our dad William. If we had any questions or concerns we got the help we needed and the questions answered. Our family just wanted to let you know that the people you have in place do a great job from the first shift all through the third shift because we have been there at all hours and the care and concern was always the same no matter what time of day. We got to know a lot of caring individuals like Sandra that would make Daddy a banana sandwich if he would be up and walking around to Tonya that could always make him smile. Toni & Natalie would always bring his food and talk to daddy like he was their grandfather. Denise is another special person to us because she had to deal with Daddy on third shift when he could be a handful and not so nice at times. Alicia would always get him to take his meds. Suzanne always stopped in just to say hello and tried to get Daddy to participate in anything to get him out and about. Krystal was always a great help to us if she saw us come in she would let us know if he was having a good day or a bad day. I just want to say a special thank-you to you for working with Lutheran Hospice and with us on keeping our Dad at Wesley Court you know my greatest fear was that we were going to have to move him and that we did not have to do which we will be forever grateful.  The week that Daddy's health started to decline rapidly you and your staff went out of your way to help our family from bringing us a cup of coffee early in the morning to coming in at 2:00 in the morning to see if we needed anything. It was so thoughtful of y'all to take the time to come to his funeral. We wanted you to know that Wesley Court is a great place and a lot of people asked us what we thought of the care he got there and we say we would stay there and if you need to go to an assisted living place that is the place to go. You do not have an easy job but you do a great job.”

“Just wanted to say thanks so much for going above and beyond the call of duty to do, what Tim tells me, is "one of the fastest Assisted Living Admissions on the record." Praise Jesus, my mom was admitted to Wesley Court today! God used you guys powerfully, to minister to me and my mom in a way I will never forget. I promise, I will tell the whole world how good you guys truly are.”

“Thank you for all your help and love to each of us. I thank the Good Lord for Wesley Court, my new home. I am happy here because of all you good friends. God loves you and so do I.”
Flora C., Resident

“The day I walked in the front door of Wesley Court, after taking my children to school, to fill out an application I felt an immediate peace and feeling of this is where I should be. I have always wanted to be in the health field. Things in life such as marriage and children came before college. In May of 2011, after years of being a stay-at-home mom and in-home daycare provider, I started my journey at Wesley Court. Wesley Court is a stepping stone of greater things to come. It has provided me with wonderful mentors and hands on experience. I have learned so much in the clinical and healthcare business areas. I have developed relationships with precious seniors, family members and teammates. I look forward to continuing my journey at Wesley Court, continuing to learn and grow as a person and continuing to work towards my goals.”
Krystal Toney, Weekend Supervisor

“It's important to me that he feels secure and knows that they love him and are going to take good care of him.”
Martha C., Family of resident

“My mother gets very good care. I think that the community is nice and clean and small enough that they know her. I have all good things to say about them. Someone pulled into the parking lot one day and asked me about Wesley Court. I was able to tell them about my experience there and with another center where my dad had been and I definitely recommended Wesley Court.”
Lewanna C., Family of resident

“As the Executive Director here at Wesley Court, I truly treasure being involved with the residents and family members. Wesley Court is their home and their entire family becomes our family. We are a small community which allows us to form bonds and build relationships easily with the residents. Our mission statement as a community is promoting independence in a supportive and compassionate environment.”
Heather Turnage, RN, Executive Director

“Wesley Court is a fine place for your family members to stay at, the care they give here is outstanding and it is a hands on facility. My aunt loves it here and she enjoys being able to do things and interact with the other residents, especially the resident with the little dog named Katie. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a place to put their loved one that is in need of assisted living.”
Julie Joyner, Family of resident and employee

“If you have a need to work, and most of us do, then Wesley Court Assisted Living is the place to be. I have been the Office Manager here for two years and I absolutely love it. All of the employees have a very good working relationship and have a mutual respect for each other. It takes special people to work with the elderly in any capacity. Our employees are kind and caring individuals and we all form special bonds with our residents. Everyone here understands that the residents are our first priority. We do not claim to be perfect, but we always put our residents first. I think our Guardian Angel Program helps us keep in touch with residents on a more personal level and makes them feel like someone cares.”
Judy Beard, Office Manager
